Yes, it’s real: Tom Cruise filmed an episode of Run Jin with BTS’s Jin! According to reports released today (May 12), the Hollywood actor appeared on Jin’s solo variety show during his recent visit to Korea to promote Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning (aka Mission: Impossible 8). The filming was part of the official promotional activities for the movie.
This marks the first-ever meeting between the two global stars, and we’re already screaming!
How did this happen?
Tom Cruise arrived in Korea on May 7 along with the Mission: Impossible 8 cast and director Christopher McQuarrie. He spent two days in the country, attending press conferences and red carpet events.
Although he was joined by actors like Simon Pegg, Hayley Atwell, and others, only Tom participated in “Run Jin”, which airs on the BANGTANTV YouTube channel. Other cast members appeared in different Korean YouTube shows, including one by Epik High.
The episode featuring Jin and Tom is expected to air around the movie’s premiere in Korea on May 17.
