    What are BTS photocards?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    A photocard is a small card, the size of a credit card (about 5.5 x 8.5 cm, or 2.2 x 3.3 in), with an exclusive photo of one member or the whole group. In K-pop, it usually comes inside the physical album, and most of the time it\u2019s random<\/strong>: you only find out which member you got when you open the box. Today, it\u2019s an essential item in any K-pop album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The practice took off with K-pop albums in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Over time, the photocard became the fandom\u2019s entry-level collectible: since it\u2019s random, it encourages trading between fans and buying more than one album to complete the set of all seven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
