BTS Gift Ideas: Presents for ARMY on Every Budget

If there’s an ARMY in your life (or you are the ARMY and you’re sending this link as a hint 👀), you’re in the right place. Choosing a BTS gift seems easy until the big moment: which member? Official or not? Album or mug? And what about the budget?

Relax. We put together BTS gift ideas for every budget, from a small Secret Santa treat to a big birthday present, a gift for every bias and even a sweet bit of trivia: the Secret Santa the members did themselves. Let’s go?

Before you buy, answer these 3 questions

Who is the bias? A gift of their favorite member counts double, and getting the bias wrong is almost a personal offense (just kidding… or not).
Do they collect anything? Albums, photocards, BT21, books… If they collect something, half the work is done.
How much do you want to spend? You can make it special even with a small budget, we promise.

Cheap BTS gifts: small treats

Secret Santa, a little souvenir or that “saw this and thought of you” gift? Keychains, mugs and T-shirts are unbeatable here. BT21 keychains, the characters the members designed themselves, please any ARMY, and the ARIRANG Tour brought new designs that are adorable.

Mid-range gifts that look great

Here we go up a level: a plushie to hug, a hoodie to wear all the time and the much-loved clear bags and backpacks, perfect for concerts, with the lightstick and photocards on display (yes, ARMY loves showing off their collection, and that’s fine).

Want to go big? Albums and ARMY BOMB

If the budget allows, nothing beats an official album. ARIRANG, the 2026 album, comes in several versions, and each one has different photocards, so it’s a gift and a surprise at the same time. For collectors, classics like 2 Cool 4 Skool, the debut album, go straight to the place of honor on the shelf.

And if their dream is the ARMY BOMB (let’s be honest: whose isn’t?), check our ARMY BOMB guide before buying, to choose the right version and avoid fakes.

Gifts by bias: one for each member

Know the bias? Then you’re halfway there. Besides merch of their favorite member, a great idea is the solo album of each of the seven:

RM: Indigo (2022) or Right Place, Wrong Person (2024).
Jin: Happy (2024) or Echo (2025).
SUGA: D-DAY (2023), released as Agust D.
j-hope: Jack In The Box (2022) or HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1 (2024).
Jimin: FACE (2023) or MUSE (2024).
V: Layover (2023).
Jung Kook: GOLDEN (2023).

For book lovers: books connected to BTS

This one is for the ARMY who likes to go beyond the music. Demian, by Hermann Hesse, inspired the WINGS era, and Beyond the Story tells the group’s story in the members’ own words. The kind of book you read highlighting and getting emotional.

BTS’s Secret Santa: what the seven gave each other

Need inspiration? The members have been there too! In episode 85 of Run BTS! (August 2019), they played Secret Santa, the famous “Manito”, and the result was that mix of emotion and chaos we know so well:

SUGA to Jin: products… of SUGA himself. This after swearing Jin would cry with emotion. A classic.
Jin to RM: products of RJ, the BT21 character Jin created. Family self-promotion.
RM to SUGA: a pack of underwear. Yes, you read that right.
j-hope to Jimin: a one-of-a-kind CD of “Promise”, Jimin’s song, with a personal message. Excuse me while I go cry.
Jimin to V: two little bear figurines.
V to Jung Kook: hand fans with V’s own face. Impossible not to laugh.
Jung Kook to j-hope: a disposable camera, so they could take photos the old-fashioned way.

The moral of the story: a gift that makes you emotional, like j-hope’s CD, works, and so does a gift that makes you laugh out loud, like V’s fans. What matters is that it fits the person who gets it. 💜

ARMY tips to get the gift right

Official or fan-made? Albums, the ARMY BOMB and HYBE/Weverse products are official. T-shirts, mugs and keychains from marketplaces are usually fan-made: cute and cheap, but not official. Nothing wrong with that, it’s just good to know what you’re buying.
Photocards are random. Albums come with random photocards. If the person has a bias, warn them it might not be their favorite… or look for the photocard sold separately and avoid the drama.
Watch the delivery time. Imported products can take a while. If it’s for a special date, buy in advance.
Make the card special. A BTS quote on the card makes any gift ten times more special. There are lots of ideas in our BTS quotes.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best gift for an ARMY?

It depends on the budget and taste, but the champions are official albums and the ARMY BOMB. To spend less, products of the bias (T-shirt, mug, keychain) or BT21 almost never go wrong.

What cheap BTS gift can I give?

BT21 and BTS keychains, mugs and T-shirts are affordable and great for Secret Santa and small souvenirs.

What to give an ARMY friend who has everything?

Go for something different: a book connected to BTS, a version of the album they don’t have yet or the solo album of their bias.
