On January 10 and 11, at the 32nd Golden Disc Awards, BTS won the digital Bonsang and the physical album Daesang for Love Yourself 承 ‘Her’. Afterwards, the members went live to celebrate with ARMY.
Daesang at the Seoul Music Awards
On the 25th, at the 27th Seoul Music Awards, came the Bonsang and the Daesang. Bang Si-hyuk won Producer of the Year.

In January, the “MIC Drop” remix stayed on the Hot 100 week after week, breaking the record for most weeks on the chart by a K-pop group.

BTS’s 2018 concerts and tours
The LOVE YOURSELF World Tour began on August 25 and 26 at Seoul Olympic Stadium, for 90,000 people. It then went through Los Angeles, Oakland, Fort Worth, Hamilton (Canada), Newark, Chicago and New York, where BTS played the first stadium concert by a Korean act in the US, at Citi Field (October 6). Next came London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Paris, the Tokyo and Osaka domes in November, and Taoyuan, Taiwan, in December. The tour continued in 2019 as Speak Yourself, which stopped in São Paulo.
With fans, there was the 4th Muster in January, the Japan fanmeeting in April, the 5th anniversary 2018 BTS FESTA, with the June 13 Prom Party, the 오, 늘 exhibition in Seoul and, at the end of the year, the MGA, MAMA in Japan and Hong Kong and the Korean TV festivals.
Performances, shows and behind the scenes of 2018
2018 was also packed with content: the Burn the Stage documentary, which became a movie in theaters, Bon Voyage 3 in Malta, Run BTS! from episode 34 to 56, the Summer Package in Saipan, their first performance on the BBMAs stage, the American TV shows (Ellen, Fallon, America’s Got Talent and Good Morning America), The Graham Norton Show in London and dozens of BANGTAN BOMBs and lives.
Wrapping up BTS 2018
If 2017 took BTS to the US, 2018 put the group at the top. Tear and Answer reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 three months apart, the Love Yourself Tour filled stadiums on both sides of the world, and RM spoke on behalf of the seven at the UN. At the end of the year came the Order of Cultural Merit, the daesangs and their first Grammy nomination.
